Why we all need a 
therapy (fairy) godmother.....

Thinking about your childhood,.......... what might have been different for you if you always had a person there that you could have turned to during times of emotional crisis and offered you nurturing and emotional support, validation, acknowledgement, understanding, trustworthiness and respect of what you were going through and feeling at that time.... someone who was empathetic and compassionate and could have given you a different perspective that it wasn't your fault what was happening around you and that those negative self-limiting beliefs you created and internalised for yourself at that time were not true....... that's what having a therapy (fairy) godmother feels like....

It's not about blaming your parents / caregivers, its about understanding that they may have had their own psychological issues to deal with that meant they could only parent you in the way that they were parented.  

By working together I can be your therapy godmother and provide you with the emotional support, nurturing, validation, acknowledgement etc you need to help you to understand and reframe those internalised critical voices and negative self-limiting beliefs and to help you work through and resolve deep levels of self-doubt to enable you to help you to talk to yourself in a more compassionate way and see yourself in a more positive light.  

By choosing the path for me to be your therapy godmother this will allow us to be able to work together to give you the stepping stones to learning new tools and resources in how to re-parent your past childhood wounds by helping you to release negative patterns, emotions, images, thoughts, feelings and sensations that you have held onto for years, to help you to heal and make powerful positive changes and embrace your true authentic self by becoming your own fairy/therapy godmother (adult part) within to look after your inner child parts of yourself in a more positive way. 

To help you learn about your emotions and how to manage them as we all need the different comfortable and uncomfortable emotions to tell us things about what is happening for us at any one time.  To learn how to de-stress yourself, to problem solve, to see things from different perspectives, to learn about different types of boundaries so that it enables you to get some balance back in your life.  

To learn how to coach yourself to be able to set goals for those things that you really want to achieve and take away those blocks of self-limiting beliefs that you have held onto for many years.
